His & Hers Fall Style

Thank God for a new week, new goals… I hope you lovely dolls had a fantastic weekend. Yesterday, my love and I spent the day in Snoqualmie Falls, WA. It is very rare you lovely dolls get to see Mikey in front of the camera. He is always behind the camera capturing me. Two weeks ago, we planned a fall photoshoot with our friend and talented Photographer Ren. For the location we picked Rockwood Farm. This location is totally out of this world. It’s the perfect backdrop for Fall shoots. Unfortunately, we were unaware that it was a private property. It’s actually an Airbnb. We woke up at 5am to get ready, met up with Ren around 7:30am and then carpooled. We arrived at Rockwood Farm around 8am to only find many other Photographers from everywhere trying to capture pictures of the beautiful leaves through the gate. We didn’t have a plan B because our hearts were set on this location.  Since it was a private gated property, nobody is allowed to take the ironic pictures of the leaves unless you are staying on their property. So next year around October Mikey and I plan on renting out their Airbnb to get the iconic Seattle Autumn/ Fall pictures. Their Airbnb prices are also cheap. We ended driving around the area and found this little gem called Three Forks Natural Area of North Bend, Washington. We just wanted to take pictures on the bridge but coming to find out the Bridge is connected to a nature trail that’s full of beautiful trees, the leaves were on the ground already looking gorgeous. We got so excited, since we were disappointed about Rockwood Farm. I cannot forget to mention mother’s nature decided to be disrespectful and send some moderate rain. It was cold and drizzly our entire shoot, but we didn’t stop our production. Our friend and talented photographer Ren set out to capture super epic shoots of Mikey and I on the trial and the bridge. We will share our bridge look next week on the blog. Our first look with went with grey and black. When picking our outfits, I always start off by putting Mikey’s outfit together first, and then I work my look around his. These are the perks of marrying a wife who’s a fashion stylist. We always look like a unit even when we don’t plan it. I don’t care what you heard turtlenecks are a must have this Fall and Winter season. For both Men and Women. Mikey is wearing his grey long sleeve flowy knit turtleneck sweater. Which he also has in the camel, oyster white and black. For bottoms I went with his grey plaid suit pants. To make his entire look pop I added his light grey asymmetrical straight cut coat with high collar, brown belt and white vans. I completed his look with a pop of color from his olive colonel pierce Goorin Bros Hat. For my look I went with my grey oversized cable knit sweater from our boutique. I finally brought out my dark grey A-line midi houndstooth skirt. Added my black tights to keep me warm, my old Aldo black velvet over the knee-boots. I completed my look with my black chain crossbody bag and navy blanket scarf from Rabecca Onassis Boutique. Both of our looks can easily be achieved within your closet. Also love how they are super versatile. Hope our outfits inspires all you beautiful guys & dolls to get creative with your fall looks. You can totally be warm and stylish at the same time. See you on the next blog post.
